FAQs

It is beneficial to know something about each employer you plan to speak with. Research companies’ websites and find out what goals they may have.
Please know that each employer may have a different expectation. We recommend that job seekers attend our hiring events in business casual to business attire. The hiring event should be treated as an on-the-spot interview, so dress to impress!
To attend the hiring event, we recommend arriving at 9:45am to check-in and begin speaking with employers at 10:00am. You are also welcome to come any time up until 12:00pm if you cannot make it out early.
There is absolutely no cost for jobseekers to register for or attend a Hire MI Vet event.
Employer lists can be found on our website once the employer registers. The lists will also be made available in a jobseeker packet at the time of check-in at the event.
